Something is wrong in Pinella Pass.
While running through the forest, Ophelia Brown discovers a group of dangerous Unseen Creatures on the wrong side of the Veil. Ophelia barely escapes their attack, and she and her friends are quickly thrust back into the world they thought they escaped last summer.
But the worst is yet to come. As more Unseen Creatures pour into Pinella Pass, Ophelia realizes her townโand everyone she lovesโmay soon be in grave danger. Desperate to stop the invasion, Ophelia rallies her friends for a daring mission to stop more creatures from crossing the Veil.
The clock is ticking, and failure isnโt an option. Can Ophelia and her friends protect Pinella Pass, or will their plans unravel, leaving the town at the mercy of the Unseen?
From the enchanting pages of this middle-grade fantasy comes a world of childhood games turned into living, breathing adventures. A perfect pick for fans of The Spiderwick Chronicles and Fablehaven.

Good ol’ country romp through a fantasy world–this was a fun read!

As someone who loves all sorts of fantasy books, i really do appreciate Ophelia Brown and the Mythical Menagerie (<- thatโs a fun word to say). As one of Juliaโs ARC readers i had the awesome opportunity to read this story and even though sometimes it was a little confusing, i appreciate the small (and general) details she put into it to bring it all to life and how even though this is a fantasy book, she still did a great job keeping the characters and their lives relatable and real. I definitely donโt think it was a hard, long or boring read for a middle grade reader. Itโs interesting and it grasps a readers attention well from beginning to end. Great job, Julia! I definitely do recommend this book to any young reader out there who loves to get lost in hidden magical worlds
